Right around the time IBM fully acquired Resource/Ammirati as part of the IBM iX division, I joined as a pseudo-contractor/employee to help with the SEO program’s development.

This was a two-part effort with one part being focused on helping smooth the gaps between bandwidth needs and the other part helping to further develop program structure, tools, etc.

While it was a short stint, mostly focused on filling in gaps behind the scenes, it did provide some interesting opportunities to create:

  • Developed an Organic Forecasting tool for forecasting potential traffic opportunities.
  • Developed an SEO Vitals monitoring tool for collecting and reporting various SEO KPI data points.
  • Helped further developed keyword research process.
