Blind Future
The division has grown and expanded since my time within the organization but still is primarily focused on hard window treatments, such as mini-blinds and vertical blinds, with a strong presence in the home improvement sector as well as the department store sector.
As National Sales Rep, this was nearly everything but a sales role. This role handled servicing the national accounts in the field, including managing their product displays and sample books, helping deal with customer (their customers) issues, and lots of product knowledge training.
In addition to hands-on-trainings during store visits, we also did several seminar training sessions a year. Lacking a provided training guide, I took it upon myself to create a 14-page training manual specific for one of our key accounts, JC Penney, for which I received a company award.
